Content Histogram Template
Overview and Key Concepts
This template creates a histogram. It shows the distribution of the
flow (or bulk) content over time. The histogram has a separate bin for
the completely empty and completely full states. At this moment, only
a single object can be added to the flow histogram.
Chart Types
This section describes the Histogram Template. The Content can be visualized using the following chart templates:
- Bar chart (current value)
- Histogram (distribution since start)
- Table (current value)
- Line chart (history vs. time)
The Options Tab
The Options tab has the following properties:
- Objects - Specifies the objects to include on the chart. See Adding Objects for more information. Note that the histogram template can currently only show the content of a single object. When you try to add more than one object, only the first object will be used.
The General Tab
The General tab has the following properties:
- Normalize Values - When this box is checked, the y axis of the graph will show the percentage of time for each bin. When it is not checked, model time spent in that bin is shown on the axis.
- Number of Bars - The number of bars in the histogram. This does not include the empty and full bars, which will always be added in addition to the number of bars you specify.
- Y Axis Title - The text shown next to the y axis.
- X Axis Title - The text shown next to the x axis.
