Utilization Table Template
Overview and Key Concepts
This template creates a table chart with two columns, Object and Utilization. The object column
shows the path to the included objects, relative to the model. The Utilization column shows
the current utilization of each object.
Utilization can only be calculated for non-content holding objects and is defined
as the total cumulative throughput relative to the maximum possible throughput so far.
For example, if the output of a source is at the maximum flow rate for the first 400
time units and at half of the maximum flow for the next 600 time units, the utilization
after 1000 time units is
((400 time units × 100%) + (600 time units × 50%)) / (1000 time units) = 70%.
Chart Types
This section describes the Table Template. The Utilization can be visualized using the following chart templates:
- Bar chart (current value)
- Table (current value)
The Options Tab
The Options tab has the following properties:
- Objects - Specifies the objects to include on the chart. See Adding Objects for more information.
The Text Tab
The Text tab is identical to the Table Settings tab. For more information, see Table Text Tab.
The Advanced Tab
This template, like all templates, uses the Advanced Tab. For more information, see Advanced Tab.
