Flow Processor

Overview and Key Concepts​

Flow processors are objects for which the input rate is always equal to the output rate. The flow processor can be added in various shapes. The specific uses for each shape are described in more detail in the following manual pages:

  • Flow Pump and Flow Valve for generic use (e.g. to redirect flow or to measure statistics).

  • Flow Blender for merging different flows in a fixed ratio.

  • Flow Splitter for splitting different flows in a fixed ratio.

Blenders, pumps, and valves

Pumps, valves, blenders and splitters are all different shapes of a flow processor. You can switch between them using the Change Shape dropdown in the (Quick) Properties.
